How to Use the Football Formation Generator

Football Formation Diagram Generator interactive tool lets you create, customize, and download football lineups for any match. It’s fully responsive and works on desktops, tablets, and mobile devices.
1. Choose a Formation
On the left sidebar, you’ll see a list of formations (e.g., 4-3-3, 4-4-2, 3-4-3).
Click on a formation to select it.
The selected formation will highlight in blue, and the player grid will update automatically.
The active formation is also displayed in the “Formation” input box at the top.
2. Enter Match Details
In the Match Title input, type the name of your game (e.g., Final Cup 2026).
This title will appear at the top of the lineup graphic.
3. Add Player Names
The player grid shows positions based on the chosen formation.
Enter the player name next to each position.
Positions are labeled (e.g., LW, ST, RW, CM, CB, GK) for clarity.
4. Preview Your Lineup
The right panel shows a visual pitch with players placed according to the formation.
Each player’s circle includes:
The player name below
The position abbreviation above
The canvas updates in real-time as you type player names or switch formations.
5. Generate and Download
Click “Generate Lineup” to render the final formation on the pitch.
Once satisfied, click “Download PNG” to save your lineup as an image.
The PNG can be shared, printed, or uploaded to your website or social media.
